Why is Onérique Face Cotton Cream perfect ? Is it suitable for all skin types ? How do I use it ? Does it really improve skin quality ? Is it mattifying and moisturizing ?
The brand
First, let’s talk about the Onérique brand. It’s a wonderful discovery for me.
The brand was created in 2017 by Glorimar. For her “a woman is beautiful when she feels good”, and I so love this phrase which is so true!
The brand is committed to clean, responsible beauty. Their products and active ingredients are of natural origin, GMO-free, not treated on animals, paraben-free, non-carcinogenic and nanomaterial-free.

The cotton face cream
The cotton cream is the cream I was able to test and it’s the one that made me discover this superb brand!
It’s a cream with an airy texture, soft, delicate and light at the same time.
It’s a cotton foam, as the name suggests. Very pleasant to the touch. It moisturizes the skin all day long, and I can tell you that I can confirm this because I have skin that tends to be dehydrated in places, and with this cream I notice with each application that my skin is much more hydrated.
The big plus for me is that in addition to moisturizing the skin, it also mattifies it, and as I have combination skin, I have to admit that it’s the perfect combo for me.
It doesn’t dry out my sensitive skin, especially since I’ve had adult acne (if you’re looking for products to combat adult acne, black cumin oil is very good, I talk about it in an article HERE).
What’s more, this cream improves skin firmness, is gentle on the skin and soothes my irritations. My over-stressed skin really appreciates this cream.
What are its key assets ?
The cream’s key active ingredients are :
– Brown seaweed extract: acts on skin firmness by activating collagen synthesis.
– Cotton extract: skin regains softness and comfort thanks to its recognized emollient and soothing properties.
– Grape-seed oil: powerful antioxidant rich in vitamin E
– Mattifying micro-beads: restore a matte finish to the complexion as soon as they are applied.

How to use it, and for which skin types is it suitable ?
The cream is a day cream, so you use it in the morning after cleansing your face thoroughly.
For my part, I use my Zinc mist from La Roche Posay (I talk about it HERE) before applying my serums, then I apply the cotton cream.
The cotton cream is suitable for all skin types because it’s moisturizing, gentle, mattifying and made with 95.6% natural ingredients. It doesn’t irritate the skin, which is precisely why it can be used even by sensitive skins.
I think it’s ideal for combination skin like mine, or even oily skin.

My opinion
As you can imagine, I love this cream! It’s a wonderful discovery for me and my skin!
It’s rare for me to find so many positive points in a single cream, and I have to say that I’m won over!
The packaging is superb, I find it very classy in glass.
For once, my combination skin remains matte even at the end of the day, and above all well moisturized. The more sensitive, dehydrated areas like the cheeks and around the mouth are also well moisturized. It’s not as tight as some. And best of all, it doesn’t puddle under makeup!
It dries quickly, so for those in a hurry in the morning, it’s perfect 😉
My skin is really beautiful and well-moisturized all day long, and I appreciate the moisturizing-matifying aspect which is not easy to find in a cream.
I’ve also noticed an improvement in the quality of my skin with each application. Softer, more hydrated skin.
Don’t forget for those who suffer from acne that it’s imperative to remember to moisturize your skin, as this helps healing and repair damaged cells.
