ToggleYoga to combat hormonal or stress-induced acne
We all know that when acne appears as an adult, it’s the cause of stress, hormones, anxiety, deep-seated suffering and so on. And acne causes us all this suffering too. It’s a vicious circle. It’s a long and difficult road… Yoga helps us to calm down, to manage our emotions and stress, to deal with our thoughts, and so on.
Yoga & Stress
Yoga is above all a state of mind!
It’s a sport, of course, but it’s also about well-being, meditation, listening and so on. With yoga, we can fight stress, anxiety, acne – whether hormonal or caused by stress – and many other problems.
It’s a practice that enables us to refocus, become more flexible and more serene.
If yoga is particularly recommended in cases of stress, it’s because during the practice we forget what’s going on around us. The idea is to focus on the present moment, not on the day-to-day problems that prevent us from moving forward and that we brood over all day long.
Thanks to this regular practice, we can become more “zen”, more serene in the face of the problems we have or encounter.
And this time spent practising yoga allows us to escape, to think about our postures (asanas in Sanskri).
Face Yoga
There are many different styles of yoga, and here we’re going to talk about facial yoga.
It’s true that for some time now we’ve been seeing forms of facial yoga appear to treat expression lines, but you should know that there is also facial yoga for acne and acne-related hyperpigmentation spots.
You need to do the exercises every day, or at least as regularly as possible, to see results.
Of course, this is in addition to the treatments you’re taking.
Some of the exercises are very easy to do, and can even be done at work, albeit discreetly 😉
I’m posting a link to several videos I really like. They’re in English, but if you follow the gestures for those who don’t speak English, you should find it easy to understand.
Yoga exercises
In addition to facial yoga, there are yoga exercises that help eliminate toxins, manage stress and improve skin.
These yoga postures should also be done regularly to see positive results. Again, yoga is a state of mind, so think of it as a boost for your body and mind.
The more you practice yoga, the more you’ll feel relaxed, less stressed and better able to manage your emotions.
Yoga exercises to treat acne include twisting exercises to detoxify the body, and breathing exercises to release toxins.
Yoga also enables us to improve our visualization, as we imagine an improvement and visualize the toxins coming out of our mouth or nose as we exhale.
All these breathing and visualization techniques enable the mind to imagine the “negative” leaving the body.
Below are links to some videos I really like.
These are quick exercises to do at home, in the evening or in the morning if you have time before going to work.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these videos as much as I have.
It was a real discovery, I must admit, and even if the results are slow, we know that if the mind is appeased then the body will follow. A healthy mind in a healthy body 😉
The idea is to free ourselves from negative thoughts and take time for ourselves by practicing regularly.
Regular yoga practice allows us to think about the present and not worry about what happened before the session or what might happen afterwards.
So let this practice surprise you and guide you…
